Re: Project Two. Vy Tat (fixed)
Now that it hangs together I don't see the issues others have mentioned with the body copy, etc. Very good job. All your illustrator work is great. The cutout kids give it real dimension. It would be an easy site for the school to use and update the information as needed. It would get the informatio...

Re: Project 2 - Kyle Smith
Excellent site. People all look fit and make you want to go to this place so you might look like them too. You've got the google maps and everything. I do agree that the body copy is a little small for old eyes like mine, but perhaps the audience is much younger than me.

Re: Project 2 Charlie Lipon
Really like your homepage, except Special Promotions might be better on two lines. It barely fits into the width, at least on my monitor. Everything else looks great, except a little bit of code shows up on the Shop page. That happened to me when I didn't close a div tag right or something like that...

project 2 site
Here it is: http://www.grc175.com/student/fall_2011/arlene_williams/project2_tamora_pierce/ Site needs and style guide are linked in the footer, but of course they are only there because it is required for class and I didn't know where else to put them. My fifth page is a subpage of the "books&...

Links: do you need a visited rule?
I was just wondering if you need a visited rule for the links. It seems to change the color of my hover, or something, which is okay, but I wonder if it is needed. Can you just leave it out and not have it change after it is visited?

Re: Bries Project Two up.
Just to add a note: I didn't put the clear in after the div containing the text. I put it in after the container that the text div was in, and then put another clear div in again after the overall container end div that held the first clear div. Gosh, this is so hard to explain. By the way, did you ...

Re: Bries Project Two up.
I love your slideshow. Very cool. Site looks really nice, great graphics. Clear, simple style, easy to see where to go to get info needed. One small thing... the text in the blue box on the homepage looks bunched at the top... that could be margins or padding. I don't know which. I just try things t...

uploading project 2 with project 1 files
Last class, Instructor Michael said he forgot to give some information about uploading project 2 so project 1 isn't wiped out. He was going to post on the forum. I don't see it. Am I missing it? I haven't attempted to upload yet, but I am almost done and want to know if there is anything I should be...

Just wondering if this is working or not. Not quite sure how I would get it all into CSS but at least I am getting a bit closer as far as the design. I am especially unclear about how to put in the blue-violent boxes with the thin wine-red lines. On the home page, the different sections need to be c...

Re: Project 1 - Josh Galli
Your site works well, except the style and site links. I think the design holds together well. The body copy looks good, even though it is so compact... it seems integrated with the style. Very good job.
