Same as everyone's said above, I really like the typography of the first design, I just think having the links scattered around the webpage just makes it slightly confusing and difficult to follow, especially on the phone version. I like the rough 2 (top design), I just don't think the blue is working with the design. Maybe change it to the same orange you have for the tabs at the top, or even a grey/green that just matches a little better!
