Re: JC - Project 03 Prelim

Honestly, I like aspects of both. I enjoy the neat square designs of the clickables in the desktop version, but the staggering of different sized buttons really works well on the mobile layout of the other design. If you could play around with merging the ideas, I think it could be really stellar.

Re: Project 03 Preliminary

The sand color feels really professional and contemporary at the same time, and I prefer it. Not to say that the B&W design isn't worth pursuing either, but it just feels a bit more 'cold and disconnected' in the way that a government site typically does (but maybe shouldn't) so the sand design ...

Re: prelim

I definitely prefer the crumpled paper aesthetic, and it feels really at-home with an art program. The main thing that throws me off is the placement of font in the header. The margins seem to be just a tad bit restricted compared to the rest of the design.

Re: project-03-prelim-jewan-mooreno

The color and styling definitely reads correct to the theme of the site. I would recommend possibly incorporating a paper texture, similar to old style documents.

Re: Project 3 Preliminary Critique

I love the visual style, lots of soft edges and small details! I just feel that in the red design those little touches don't stand out as much, where as in the blue design they pop better.

Re: Project 3 Preliminary Critique

I think both designs are pretty excellent, and the white text was a smart choice on the dark background. But I do agree with some of the others that a block of text could use some more interest.

Re: Project 03 Rough Drafts~~~

I think V1 is the stronger design overall. While both are solid, the more blocky style of that one vibes better with the website demographic personally.

Project 03 Prelim

I realize now that we were supposed to have 4 designs and 2 roughs each (one mobile, one web), and my goofy ass did 2 designs (one mobile, one web) with 4 roughs each. Whoops, I hope you guys get the point anyways. The site I'm adapting is pretty noncoherent and insane, so I'm still working out pote...

Re: Project 01 Final

I think the font choices are solid on the black, i just think the classical style doesn't really jive with the modern aesthetic of the site design. Other than that, I like the layout and would just center my nav buttons for ease of use on the desktop version. Excellent job though!

Re: Project 1 Final

Overall the design has nice color and lightness. On the web version the only thing I notice is that the navigation buttons are a little lonely. They feel very alone and not very integrated into the design. Maybe even just swapping them to the inside and the image to the outer side, I'm not certain. ...
