Project 2 Final Critique

Post by Abused Oreo »

So here s my final webpage....for now. Im happy with how it turned out but it still needs some work.

I was able to get everything where i wanted it too and my images look great. Although when you play with the browser size it tends to break.

Hi Taylor,

Very nice! It follows your great project 1 design very well. You may want to add a bit more margin above the TMCC logo.
Excellent work!

Hey Taylor,

Nice work turning your initial design into your webpage. The final result looks very very similar to your project 1 final. I do miss the cute email icon that was in the left-hand corner though.

Nice job!

Good job translating your Project One design over to a real live website, Taylor. It's looking quite strong.

All the strengths of your Project One are here. You've got your fantastic background image and your header and footer acting as great frames for your content. Your typography is really working. The sans-serif type serves to modernize the whole thing wile the eye is drawn to your serif title type. Your navigation is easy to see and use. Your composition works well with your imagery. Mostly by staying out of their way and letting them do the heavy lifting when it comes to color and texture.

Unfortunately, it's also inherited some of the margin and alignment issues, especially the right edge between your navigation, title, and body copy container. You probably could have gotten away with being a little more transparent with your body copy container. Also, the margin at the top of the TMCC logo is awfully tight.

Nicely done!

Hey Taylor, your website looks pretty cool, it give me a sense of calmness with the whole tree thing you got going on. Your navigation looks clean. I do think that you could have done something to stylized your name. Actually, I think the typeface you got for your name right now fits for some reason, I cannot explain lol maybe just increase the size. Great Job!
