Hello Everyone,
I made the decision instead of making just one landing page I decided to make an entire website for my portfolio. My color scheme and typography are simplistic to give off a professional look. I looked at other graphic artists' websites as inspiration. There are a few screenshots to show the layout of the website. The difference between both mock-ups is mainly the layout of the website. PNG1-10 is the first design and PNG11-17 is the second design. I didn't include my portfolio work pages to keep the file upload smaller. Let me know what you guys think and what adjustments could be made. I will have to upload a separate post of the mobile mock-ups.
Here are the research links:

Thank you,
Dani

First off, super duper cool!
I love both of your layouts. Theyre both super cool, but obviously a bit similar.
I design the same way as I think you do. I go full steam ahead on what idea I like most.
The style is consistent, and all I could think to add is a few more accent colors.

Hi Danielle,
First of all, let me say WOW!
I like both of these designs, very professional looking, simple, and to the point. However, I'm torn between the two. I like the "designed by Dani" header in the first design and the text "Hi I'm Dani, etc." in the second design. If those two could be joined together I think would be nice. And I think maybe a splash of color might be good. Just my opinion.

Wow! That's a lot of roughs, Dani. You like to work. Unfortunately, I only see one design. It's a good one, but I only see the one.
You have an ultra clean layout here that does a good job of getting out of the way of the content, but is not so blah that the website becomes boring. I especially like your decision to grayscale everything but your imagery. That causes the imagery to really stand out against your composition and grab the eye. That self portrait in particular really stands out. Proximity does a lot of heavy lifting here to group objects together and move the eye around the composition. Your logo design is good too. I like how you include the actual logo on one page and then use a logomark throughout the rest of it. Your navigation is easy to see and presumably to use. Good selection with the typography too. Looks like it's a single typeface and then you're playing with different weights and widths of that typeface.
I would have liked to have seen a second design. That being said, some of your margins do stray awfully close to causing your objects to break up. Be careful you don't spread things out too far.
Nice work!

Hi Dani,
I like how simplistic yet aesthetic your website is! But I cannot tell the difference between the two designs sadly Overall though, I can tell you put a lot of thought through each section of your web Wonderful job on that part!

Hi Dani,
I appreciate your dedication to fleshing out each page and providing a flow chart of what is happening. I like the simplicity of these. They are very clean. I’m leaning towards liking the second one more because there is more information that lets me know what your site is about and who you are. I like differences in layout between the two, even with their similarities. I suggest adding some more elements to help the reader know where to look first and help guide them through the design. And also added some type variation (you did a great job on the weight of the type). Overall it looks great, and I’m excited to see your future designs!
Great job,
Rebekah

Dani,
I love the look of your website! Super minimalistic and clean. I don’t really see a difference between the two, so I guess I would say I like the second one more.
I think the only thing you could improve is not to forget the TMCC logo. Other than that, it all looks great.

Hey Dani!
I like your website! I like the fonts you have chosen to use. I like the custom art that you added. I like your logo. I think that the website is well laid out. The only thing I want more of from this website is color. I think that using small splashes of a bold color could really help to lead the eye around you page. Very strong start! I look forward to seeing your site full of your other work.

Hi Danielle!
I love your designs they’re very clean and nice to look at! I can’t quite find anything to critique because I find them so enjoyable to look at! I think if anything I’d find a way to add a spot of color just to make certain aspects pop instead of limiting yourself to two colors!
Have a good evening!
