Project 1 Final
Hi everyone! I'm Kaycee and this is my final design. For my design I wanted to do something that reflected me in some way and also make something with a clean professional look and feel. Red is my favorite color and I really like how it looks paired with the black. I found this great image to place as my body background that I felt was really clean, simple, but also gave my design a nice texture. For my final design I ended up inverting the original image turning it black. This solved my text box issue allowing me to create enough contrast so my "about me" section was readable. I also created a gradient overlay for my navigation as well as my footer to create more depth in my design. Overall I am very happy with how my design turned out. Let me know what you think!

Looks great, Kaycee! I really like what you did with your texture image and the contrast between it and the solid colors gives your design a crisp look. Your layout is strong and looks professional. Well done!

I think changing that background image to black really makes the text pop out, and also is more cohesive to the entire design than just having white in the middle of it. A very chic, professional looking design, and I think it fits you very well. The color scheme of red, black and white is really cool when you consider most websites go for variations on blue and white, so good job choosing the color scheme. The photo you chose here I think looks more like something that would be in a professional website than the one you had in the other design, and having it black and white is a nice choice. Great job!

I like your final design. The color scheme works very well together. I am still having a little trouble reading the text for your paragraph though.

The background image works well with your color scheme and adds great texture. The left to right gradient of the image also complements the movement and rhythm of your layout though it does make the text difficult to read.

I'm glad you picked this one. It has a very professional and modern look to it.

I like this entire atmosphere and the color scheme.
I'm also having a trouble to read the body copy so I agree with what Laureen said. Just try turn the background texture a little darker so it'll look better I guess.

Very strong work. The only thing I'd do is draw an imaginary line from the "K" of your name straight down, then match up the alignment of your nav and body text to that imaginary line, so you've got a strong, organized vibe going to match the powerful color scheme. Good luck!

Im glad you went with this design i really like your use of texture and your color choice. I agree with others that the body copy is a little lost with the texture a bit so id just move that over to the darker right side of your center container.

Hi Kaycee!
Your final came out Beautifully! I love the black texture, and it works well with your type! And the Red.. Wow this really helps pop it all off and come together. I really don't have any critiquing to do on yours. I love it! Great Job Kaycee!
