Hi,
Thank you for your comments!
Here is my final design for our first assignment.

Also, here's a couple of links that helped to inspire me:

Hey! Not sure how you made this but it looks awesome! The colors are great and it feels 3D. Good job.

Cool, I like the distressed texture. It looks like something from an albums liner notes. Your name/title has some weird photoshop artifacting that could probably get cleaned up. I really dig your concept.

Hey Matty,

I love your layout! It's very retro, and yet very modern (everything cycles). If I was looking online for a graphics artist, I would contact you. Great job!!

Wow, that is such a cool image. It's interesting and unique, as are the color choices. It makes you stop and ask whats going on, and makes you want to dive in deeper to see what the dealio is. I also find that the design makes sense and is easy to navigate. Well done!

Matt! This looks way better than where you were with the first critique! Awesome!

Matt,

Aesthetic is really cool. I like washed out 3d. Very unique. Layout is fine, and fonts all work for me.

Imo, it doesn't really pop. A drop shadow might help with this, or maybe a glow of some kind.

Hi Matt!!

these are super cool!! i love what you did with the colors in the background and just the background in general. I think whatever effect you did on your name is super cool too because it distorts it to match the overall feel of your site, but not to a point where it looks out of place. Only thing I would say is to work with the paragraph line spacing in your mobile version so the words don't overlap the dots. Nice job!!
