Hi All!
My name is David looking forward to this class hopefully I can put some of this knowledge to use this semester. Also looking forward to seeing all of your work and get some inspiration from all of you. I'm 66 years old and just getting started in this field and I am looking for young people to keep me current. Moving forward, Good Luck to all of you!!

Welcome to the class, David. You picked a great time to get into the field. A few years back, the W3C (the keepers of the web's programming languages) went through both HTML and CSS and cleaned them up. They simplified the languages and made them more semantic (that is, they mean what they say and say what they mean). It makes working with them so much easier. I'm looking forward to seeing your solutions to my projects. If you have questions or need help or clarification, I'm available via email or Canvas. Don't be a stranger. See you in class!
