SAILING INTO WEB DESIGN

I am a professional creative director, writer, information architect, brand strategist, and producer of dozens of websites — but graphic designer of none — and I am taking this class to develop an appreciation for the efforts of the UI/UX designers I work with every day.

PROJECT ONE

is the website design you're looking at right now. The purpose of Project One is to create a "home" for the other projects we were assigned to do in this class. The idea is to create something that tells a little bit about ourselves, while allowing room for growth.

PROJECT TWO

is the assignment where we were asked to find an existing website that was in need of some TLC. The task was to assess the site, brainstorm some solutions, and design a modern site that does a better job of communicating than the original.

PROJECT THREE

is the assignment where we were asked to redesign TMCC's GRC degree program site, thereby having the ability to showcase our talents and basically attempting to "show up" whoever it was who designed the existing informational center for the program.
