Re: project_4_prelim_jcowan
Thanks for the insight into your creative process, James. These are always fascinating to me. I'm all about that Design 1, myself. I really like the use of contrast throughout. It's so strong and does a great job of illuminating important content. Everything stands out and works well. That rotated ...

Re: project4 prelim???
Honestly I am leaning towards the green design if only because most of us shy away from the color. However I am dying for some imagery if not only to see what it would look like against the " vivid " background. I might embolden some of the font choices to help them occupy your own space. ...

Re: Proj 4 prelim...here we gooooooo!!!
Bwaahahah! That's a great staff line up. I like the design you have going the heavy black and the minimal green. I would put something to occupy the negative space on the landing page, text, student work maybe...An awesome start and I am curious to see how it ends up.

Re: project IV preliminary
I am leaning towards your second design, I am digging the deco sections and the script font you chose, the UI is a little confusing for me with the burger menu at the bottom and nav at the bottom unless it is planned to be a fixed image? Other than that possibly playing with the fonts moving forward...

Re: project04_roughs
I am diggin' all your designs but I am specifically to mobile 3 and desktop 2. I like the great use of imagery and color and I like that you went all out without including elements of the original site. The UI is a little confusing and the actual text gets lost a bit but I'm sure you have noticed th...

Re: Project 4 prelim
Um, lions, because pokemon only exist in the metaverse, lol, and a lion verses a laptop or a phone, I am lion all the way. As for your design, I like where the second one is going, the use of box elements gives it a solid UI experience. I would work on defining the smaller elements with some padding...

Re: Project04: Preliminary!
I dig the second version of your roughs, the high contrast colors with the busy but not distracting background really provolks a visual interest. That being said the only thing I could find that I can nitpick is maybe a bit more breathing room for the body copy, it feels like it is a bit over powere...

Re: project 4 prelim
While I am naturally drawn to the first design's color I think the second layout is more the direction of a solid UI experience. That being said, I think maybe a combination of the two designs into a super lion robot design might be the way to go as I see it. On the second design possibly the use of...

Re: Project 04 Prelim
I am all about the second design, I agree with coach that it break the mold of title at the top, I also like that you are leading with a different color than the green and the minimalist background is also something I dig. The body copy and general layout could use a little padding and margin work b...

Re: Project04 Prelim
I like the second set of designs, it's screams TMCC and has a lot of the qualities of the original design incorporated into the site. The one thing that is a little off when I look at it is, why a split navigation instead of spanning the whole bar and giving the buttons a little breathing room? Also...
