This is my redesign for this project. Oddly enough I do like how the website looks already, but I do think the website can do a bit better with throwing around its color pallet more, so that's what I'm attempting to do.

Both of your designs for me are great, but your first website is so professional looking I tricked myself into thinking it was the actual website. I like how sleek it looks and how everything is organized, and the hierarchy is crazy good. Definitely go with design 1!

I love the beige look for the website, while it is sleek, the beige seems like a better fit because of the websites topic. I think that the use of that big dark cupcake is really cool, and your use of hierarchy is awesome. I'd go with the beige look for sure
