Re: Project #3 - Prelim

I'm enjoying the first concept a lot more :) It's more pleasing to the eye, to say the least :D Question: Is that your picture of the overhead shot of the Sierra building? If so, how the hell did you take it? lolol Great job!

Re: project_3 prelim

The second design is definitely the stronger out of the two concepts. I would use a somewhat less expressive type for your headline? The messy headline type conflicts with your clean concept and illustration, in my opinion. Regardless though, great job! (Make the illustration bigger? I really enjoy ...

Re: G. R. to the WHAT WHAT C.... lol.

I'd go with the second one and enlarge your nav bar. I honestly couldn't tell if you had one for a few seconds because your typefaces are too similar in size. Great start though :D

Re: It's the final countdown...

I like the first concept somewhat better. Both are amazing, but the layout of the first flows better in my opinion. The only issue is the first background image. I would change it, if you decide to stick with it :)

Re: project three concepts

Although I love the first one, it does make me want to hit up a local club :D So, I would definitely stick with the second one. :D

I'm loving the last design. It's very expressive and unique. I would fix what little contrast issues you have and stick with it! Great job :)

Re: project 3

I'm liking the second layout more as well. One thing I would change would be the color of your text. The bright green is not sitting right with me lol I love that picture though. I might have to steal it from you tomorrow :)

Re: Project 3 Prelim

I'm loving the first one a bit more. It's easier to read by far, but I would shrink the fonts on your nav bar because I'm having issues with the boarders touching the words lol Great job though!

Re: Project 3 Preliminary

I'm loving the illustrations in the background, but I'm going to have to agree with everyone and say that you need to have way less text, or at least make your text box have two columns? Make sure that your text isn't long enough to bore the reader, but isn't short enough to brake apart what you're ...
