I enjoy both your designs. Very whimsical especially with the swirls and your type choice which is really nice! Would love to see more photographs though about "students" or "degree programs" to help relay the message that you're in a .edu website. Good start!

I like the photography you chose for the second design so i'm going for that one. However if you're going for that color you might wanna reconsider your use of the TMCC logo. the colors are kind of clashing right now but other than that, good start!

Not sure how you're gonna make the diagonal buttons work but so far I like your first design better. It looks less busy, aren't floating in space, and have less contrast issues. Go for the first one!

I would have to vote on first design. I love the photography and it just looks more refreshing and easy on the eyes. I also love your buttons and type choice. Clean and crisp. Gotta love dem round sans-serif types
