both designs are very good. i like the oriental layout more, but i feel like the other layout makes more sense when it comes to page structure… the navigation just seems more user friendly i guess.

oooh, and the circle thing at the bottom of the 2nd one is a really nice concept, i think it would be very interesting

Both designs are really clean, the first one is my favorite. I really like the typeface, water, and colors. Very vibrant. Catches the eye. mmhm

I'm more intrigued by design 2, the leaf buttons are pretty……. and the tree. wow, MS Paint? good job, lol. Design 1 could also work well, but maybe the bubbles could be rearranged, or move like in a flash website or something.

thanks, yes i think i am going to make the buttons in a more legible font on both designs, and try to design a more interesting interface, i'm thinking of a sorta interactive one that shuffles through the pages, with the deselected pages put in depth in the background as you roll through each page
