The marquee logo is great! I'd make the show posters all the same size there on the right or the top page.

Re: Project 2_Preliminary comps
I'm not sure what happened but I have had to redo a bunch of my critiques? I wrote yours last night? anyway, I live the top one with the warm embossed leather background. It makes the pictures pop! Plus turquoise really contrasts with brown very well. Good job on both. You are an awesome designer. w...

Re: Project 2 Preliminary Critique
I love the paper cut out look, but the page 2 layout and images are so beautiful they should definitely be your final. Even though you don't see a pizza, the herbs are so appetizing. Good choices on the page 2 layout!

Re: Roughs2_by_Amy
I like that you have the city in the background, but I would not use the gray throughout the website as a main color. Maybe a cream or taupe with the black. Or two shades of the same color, but something bright and happy because it is a pediatrics website.
The scrolling page works great!

Re: Project 2 Preliminary Roughs
Nice job on both. I love the silhouettes on the brown version. I prefer the brown one because it draws my eye in with the warm colors and the layering of silhouettes. It haas depth.

Looks good!
I like the speedometers on the bottom.
Looking forward to seeing your flushed out version.

Re: Project 2 Roughs
The beer image you chose in rough two is a very nice background. The rough one isn't bad, but the red background with yellow text is a little rough on the eyes. The beer image with wood background IS very pleasing to the eyes. Maybe implement the blue and white afrom the Bavarian flag vs. the red an...

Re: Roughs2_by_Amy
I think both designs are a good start. I do however think the greyscale backgrounds for either is a little dark for a pediatrics website. i would play with color for either design. I would choose a color palette from one of the websites that have color wheels and stick with a set of colors. I'm thin...

Re: Project 2_Preliminary comps
What happened to the line ... "A real Western store for real cowboys" ? lol. IThe contrast of turquoise and brown is one of my favorites. I'm loving the top one. The background image choice is warm and inviting, but also makes the images pop. The left hand navigation bar is very easy to re...

Re: Project 2 Preliminary Critique
Great job on creating two very different websites! Even though I am a fan of the cut out paper look, the bottom website is gorgeous and makes me want to eat. It's warm, inviting, very creative and organized. Good job on that site!
