Project 3 Final
Well, for some reason I had trouble importing my fonts, so this does not entirely match the design I had in mind. Not sure what I did wrong. If Michael or anybody can point out the mistake/s in my code, I'd be appreciative. I'm sure it's right under my nose! Regardless....it's DONE!! The link for my...

Re: pr3_roughs_ab
I agree the green is a bit strong on the first design, but I like your color palette on the second. I think the transparent colors over the TMCC background image works well. I think the layout would benefit if you included your contact information somewhere other than the highlighted center. Perhaps...

Re: project 3 preliminary critique
Hi Domnique, Nice designs, but I like your second set of roughs most. I like your color palette choice as well as your ‘painted’ effect of the TMCC campus. My first impression of your navigation menu was that I was looking at drop down menus, but then decided you were layering vertical menus under t...

Re: Project 3 - roughs
Rosa, these are some nice layouts! I prefer your first set. I like the sequential, layered pictures, the splattered paint effects, the easy to read body copy, and the fancy header type. The header reminds me of inked prints from type blocks and your logo is a cool touch of radioactive. I think some ...

Re: Project Three Roughs
Hey Paula, I like your second rough most. I appreciate what you’ve done with your clean look and modern, serif font. I really enjoyed the gallery pics as well as our happy mascot in the lower corner. With some footer info, I think the header and footer would frame the layout even better. Nice work!

Re: Project 3
Miss Hummela, I’m drawn to your clean layouts for both, but prefer your first. I agree that the RGB & CMYK is not as strong as working from the CMYK palette itself. Nice work Alexa!

Re: Project #3_Preliminary Critique
Hey Danielle, while I'm a fan of blue, I find myself leaning toward your second set of roughs. The imagery and layout fits my idea of a website for a college, while the font for your title indicates it's not your typical academic department. I also like the font choice for your body copy and our hap...

Re: preliminary critique of project 3
Hi Ashley, I like both designs, using that clean modern look, but am leaning toward the second, orange layout. However, I also like your quotes and the color overlay in the first. Part of me wonders if you can incorporate the quotes and an overlay in the second? Also, if you decide to go with orange...

Project 3 Roughs
These 2 sets of roughs are similar, but have some differences in layout. After looking at a number of GRC department websites, I decided to go with a simple, clean, more modern look. At this point, I favor my 2nd set of roughs, but wonder if a mix of the two (titles for one in place of the other) is...

Re: Elizabeth project 3 Roughs
Hi Elizabeth! While both designs are strong, I lean toward rough number 1. If I understand your footnotes, the 'About' page titled 'Graphic Communications' is the inside page for rough 1, giving it a similar look to rough 2. I like the use of windows in the home page layout as a link for your inner ...
