Project 3 roughs
Hi All - I don't know if anyone is still out there looking at P3 roughs, but I'm posting mine anyway! If you happen upon them, please provide feedback. I've learned so much from everyone's comments this semester. My first rough is intended to have a bit of a techie feel and be a little more on the &...

Re: Project# 3 Roughs
I prefer your second set because the home page feels much stronger to me. I really like your color scheme for both designs, but feel the second set demonstrates a more successful use of those colors. Great use of transparencies and typography!

Re: Project 3 Preliminary Critique
I really like the home page of the second set and the classes page of the first set! I think they go really well together and especially like the way you used typography expressively on the classes page. I'm not usually a fan of the lizard but I like the thumbs up image you chose and think it's enga...

Re: Project 3 Roughs
I love the first set - very good contrast with just the right amount of color and suggestion of artistic expression. Your nav is clear and the layout is inviting. Great job!

Re: Project Three Preliminary Critique - Reload
I really like the second set of designs showing off student work. It provides a variety that engages my attention and it would be a great way to be able to freshen the site periodically. Maybe there could be a combination of student work and quotes...

Re: Project 3 preliminary
I like your both of your layouts but find the second one a little busy. That said, the first one is a little plain and adding some texture to the background would really help. I like the shape of your content boxes and nav bar. One thought might be to use the TMCC design you created as a background ...

I really like your first design, Denise. It has the perfect balance of minimalism and flair. I like the second design as well, but it doesn't communicate "graphics program" quite as well for me. The first one is savvy and fun at the same time.

Re: Project3 preliminary critique
First of all - you don't have to ask forgiveness! It could have happened to anyone, and actually, I'm surprised it wasn't me! I seem to have found every techie snafu there is during my time in this program. :D I think both your designs are very good and could go either way, but I'm enjoying the fres...

Re: project3 prelim
I like the second design and think you did a great job with the graphic. It's interesting enough to make you want to figure it out and I like stuff like that. Your information is easy to read, though you might want to play around with the typography a little.

Re: Project Three Preliminary Critique
I'm leaning toward your first design - which I think you have marked design 2. I like the navy and purple and the contrast you've created. I think you could combine some elements from your second design if that's the one you prefer, with the first design to add a little spark beyond the imagery you ...
