[ Redo ] Project 1 Final

So after some fiddling, I lowered the intensity of the background color and made it lighter. Furthermore, I made it more interesting by giving it sprinkles for a pattern that's mean to repeat and give it the sprinkle impression. The box was enlarged to take up more space and fit more information. I ...

Re: Project One Preliminary Critique. -Tucker

I really do enjoy the concept provided, and enjoy the "diving" feel it offers when you head deeper into what you have to offer. The monochrome even works well with the theme, but I wouldn't mind seeing what it would look like in color for the top image.

Re: Project one online final

I do like the colors picked for the page, and the nice big image toward the top is also appealing. My biggest concern is the magenta on blue. It's difficult to read text that close in contrast. Maybe diverging the two, one light, and the other darker, will help this problem. Or changing the color of...

Re: Project 1 Critique

I do prefer the second one over the first, and even with the color shine as the background, the colors blend well together. The only thing I'd suggest is putting a transparent background around the body text so it's easier to read. When there's a lot of colors like that it makes paragraphs more diff...

Re: Preliminary project one

I like the first one. It very much reminds me of graphics, particularly printers since those appear to be the primary colors (three of them). I like the simplistic opening page where you can click into the information you want to view, but I think the font is a little difficult to read.

Re: Project 1 prelim rf

I prefer the first concept where all of the content has been placed, and its neat to see gratuitous header up at the top, but I feel it's lacking a solid color scheme. It doesn't feel well unified.

Re: Project One Preliminary Critique

I feel the second concept has more going for it than the first one does. The font on the first is too personalized and offset whereas the second it fits better. Maybe if you refine the second one some more?

Re: Preliminary for project 1

I prefer the first one over the second. The vertical images on the right are a nice touch and give it an artistic feel, and the contrasting on the left side is very well done. There isn't much to say about what I don't like. Maybe experiment with what a body text would do it?

Re: Preliminary Critique #1

I really enjoy the first concept, as it's visually appealing and has a nice monochrome theme going on. The composition is nice, but I feel the body of text is just hanging there.

Re: Project #1 Preliminary Critique

I prefer the first one over the second, as it has nice imagery and the font and layout is aesthetically appealing, but I don't think the color fits well with the monochrome background. Maybe adding a color filter over the dark parts of the image will give it a nice pop?
