They're not so spooky or scary but they are skeletons. The true bare bones.
Version one has more of a side button set up verses the second is on the top.
Yeah super simple yay..

Re: Project 2 Preliminary Critique
They're both great designs but the first one has a better contrasts that brings out the text for the pages, unlike the second one is a bit to bright. I also like the font selection that compliments the environment of the Truckee area. I'd consider taking the second website's brick background and app...

Re: project2 preliminary critique
The first design has more of a design i'd see at the Roller Kingdom verses the second design seems for fitting for a more adult rollerskating establishment. The Roller Kingdom is more of a kid friendly environment so i'd consider brighter colors or party type background that would compliment the for...

Re: Kaylyn Dazey Project @
It's very well organized and the simple color pallet makes it easier to read the text. But the text might need to go up a few points because it's hard to read. I like the mountain imagery but it might need more opacity because it brings more life to the site and shrink down the face to half because ...

Re: Project 2 Preliminary Critique
Both are nice designs, but i like the second brighter design better because it portrays the biography more towards her verses the books she has created. It also portrays more of a fluent personality verses the first design that has more of a solid rocky structure with the fonts you've used.

Re: project 2 preliminary critique
I like the how you added a more broad range to the website verses it's original narrow view.
The added range of colors has great contrast that draws your eyes to the center pages.

Project 2 Preliminary Critique

Re: Project 1 Final
The grey scale and organization are both very well. The separation of the illustration and the body text are well made with the difference in the contrasting colors and i like your quote in your illustration. The Red text also pops out well pulling the viewers to read your text box.

Re: Final submission for project one
Firstly, fantastic organization and great installations within the welly placed areas. The contrasting white really pulls out the images more, subtract the bottom image sadly, just because of the whites in the fur, but still well done. The font is a great choice especially when your using a forest s...
