Project 3 Final

Well this is as done as it's gonna get. Student work page just needs more pieces on it and I didn't get around to making funny bios for the faculty page. I am happy with it other wise. Best viewed at full screen though it does scale. http://www.grc175.com/student/spring_2017/jared_harper/project3_jh...

Re: Project Two - Final

Uh, yeah, thats good stuff! Your background and color scheme is calm and soothing for your Project 2 site. I love the action of how your Project 1 scrolls.

Re: Project 2

The Red section with Diamond DA20 and DA40 is a submenu under the category Aircraft that would be visible when moused over. Sorry, it made sense in my head. Heya, In the first design, I'm having trouble with the navigation, What's "Diamond DA20 and DA40"? And why are they part of the navig...

Re: preliminary project 2

I think design is a great attempt at the limitation you imposed here. The two things I might change is the slicer wallpaper ( those things make me think of a bad mafia movie ) and the flag font becomes really hard to read on the home page due to its size. However the second design is a vast improvem...

Re: Project 2 Preliminary Critique

These are so clean Sarah! I love em, the article slideshow is a nice touch. I think I prefer the top horizontal navigation and the telescoping text boxes of design 1.

The only thing I would suggest is playing with that opacity on the header.

That is all.

Re: Project 2 Preliminary

Damn, dat JAG doe! The design 2 home page is awesome, I love the grill on that jag! overall these are really well thought out and designed. Layouts are clean, obvious and easy to navigate. My couple of pointers would be: buttons don't always need boxes, consider dropping them on nav buttons for desi...

Re: Project 2 prelim crit

OUCH! That site hurts to look at. First off, great job directing your designs towards the target audience. Colors really pop instead of overpowering everything with that horrible 100% yellow background! I love the idea of self illustrating with crayons for your site, I'm sure there are tons of fun w...

Re: Project 2 Roughs

Galaxion is a spaced themed strategy board game, kinda like risk, that won a Guinness World Record for the largest board game. At least thats what I could gather before my eyes started to bleed! God that is a horrendous site! Oh, and that evolution is a myth. It's like they stopped trying to sell sh...

Re: project_#2_rough

Elizabeth, WOW. You nailed the color choices, layouts are simple yet unique. Photographer websites really lend great imagery. I like how the left image goes from top to bottom in design 2. The text overlapping the image is a bit distracting though, higher contrast in the typeface may address this. S...
