Hi hi!

Post by sarah.alvarado »

Hello everyone, my name is Sarah Alvarado! Ever since I was a child I've had the urge to create and write about fantastical worlds of my own creation. I am incredibly interested in anything involving illustration (both traditional and digital) and writing. I got into the graphics program for the purpose of spreading my ideas and making them known. Whereas that may seem a little too unrealistic, it is my driving force. No matter the class, if I have the chance to show my ideas and gain feedback to make them better then I am happy.

That being said, I am a very imaginative person and regularly delve into create, character, and world creation. Some of my other interests include the occult, witchcraft, mythology, and religious studies (which I probe deeper into from time to time) as well as anything having to do with cats and dragons.

Thank you for reading and maybe even responding to this little insight about myself! I am so excited for this semester and I hope to learn more about you all! :D

Welcome Sarah! I'm glad to see such a creative individual is joining the class and look forward to seeing how your illustrational talents influence your designs. Depending on what you want to pursue, having a graphic design/web design/web development skillset can be very helpful both to advertise your own stuff and to have fallback income as you pursue that fine art career or write books. We'll get you nicely set up for wherever you want to go and whatever you want to do.

Have fun and enjoy the semester. :D
