hello

Post by elizabeth_mccurdy »

Hello I am from Venezuela and I moved to the USA 10 years ago with my family. I love out door activities and enjoy life. I love to draw, paint and design but I want to learn more about design and how to do web pages. After this class I am hoping to do my own web page and see how everything works. :D

Well hello Allie!

Glad to see you in another GRC course! I'm totally going to need your help with picking colors again!

Greetings Elizabeth. I hope you'll find your stay in GRC 175 fun! 8-) Knowing how to design, lay out, and build websites is important to stand out from the sea of designers competing for jobs these days. Doing your own website is a great way to practice your skills and hone your knowledge. It's the road I'm kind of starting you guys on with Project One and the ability to tweak it as you see fit throughout the semester.

I look forward to seeing your designs in this class.

Don't forget to make a signature with your name on it too.

Oh, that won't be a problem, Ed. Once I give you the color lecture and you learn about what colors work well together, then all you'll have to do is ask yourself "what emotion do I want to convey here?" and then key it to a color. *Bam* You'll have a color scheme for your design. Just. Like. That.

Design is absolute mind control.
