Prelim project 2

I chose http://mountainmusicparlor.com/. I'm having a difficult time choosing between the two background images; I really like them both. I chose to overlay the image on prelim 2 onto distressed wood, which I could also do to the warmer image in prelim 1.

Hi Grace,
Both web site roughs look good, although, I prefer the second design. (prelim_1)
The "Featured" section is more interesting than the "coming soon" image from the first design.
The navigation buttons for the second rough are much more eye catching, than the first design.

My advice would be to make the logo a bit bigger, and have it be on the corner, and also place title event with the dates.

Both page roughs look good, It is hard for me to decide which one is better. But I think I prefer the prelim_1 The picture in navigation catches my eyes better and look more fun to look and easy to read. I just think you can put the image a little bigger.
