The first design works better. I like how the first thing i see is their really nice campus. Maybe add more images though, you have a lot of body copy for your home page.

I like your second home page and your first staff page. Text is a little hard to read.

I like the first layout. It is a cleaner look and I like how you did the navigation bar. Maybe move the Yale type over a few pixels so it is the same distance on the right as the distance from the top of the page.

I like your first design better it is appealing to the eyes viewers well organized very simple and easy navigation.
great job very nice, the only thing I would change would be the family type.

I like the clean lines of the first design, not too busy, but still shows the campus in all its glory!
