Matt, super cool art as always! I love it. I think that maybe you can incorporate the textures and color palettes from your artwork into the website itself. I definitely would get rid of the black stroke in your name, hehe. I hope you choose fun fonts for this!

Hi Matt,
Your painting is very cool! I like the first lay out, it conveys the message of what the site is about. The way you stacked the menu is nice too. good job!

Hey Matt,
I am interested in this image/painting and think the contrast between the really simple navigation/type style/colors on this intricate painting works. I would just suggest on the web design maybe try cutting the design in half like image on the left, boxes/navigation on the right, just paying attention to layout changes of web and mobile sizes.

I like the first layout, however they both look very basic. Maybe add some more color or more design elements might improve it.
Hope this helps,

Hey Matt, cool painting, I would suggest integrating the same color scheme into the rest of your design instead of going with a stark black and white. This looks like it could have a very interesting interactive elements but it could take a lot of time to implement them properly.

your design is very reminiscent of "Monk's, the Scream" http://blog.artweekenders.com/2014/01/2 ... -versions/. I'm not sure about the black bar between the image and your info.
Re: Project1-Prelim
I like your designs a lot!! The contrast of your picture in your design is great. The only thing I’m not too sure about is the Web layout, I feel like your picture got stretched?

That's such an awesome painting! You shouldn't cover it with your buttons! Maybe you could try moving your navigation menu to the side? That way it wouldn't cover it up! Awesome job!

The first one is more what the project is asking for. The image is engaging. I like the color choice.
