I really like how you improved the site! It was really bad before! I do like the second design more, it reminds me more of a serious classified information kinda thing and that makes it even better! I do think you should turn down the opacity of the background graphic, it brings too much attention to itself!

I like the lighter version better since its got the watermark back there that ties your whole theme together. I also like the paper effects you added.

I like the last one! I think that is really easy to find information. You might have too many things on the navigation bar. I would make fewer items on the navigation bar.

You chose a really text heavy and complicated site to recreate! That's awesome! With that said, I like your white design better than the other one. It looks easier to read and navigate. Great work!

I like the darker version more because it does give a different tone to the site. I do think the white content boxes on black is a bit too much of a contrast though.

I'm more drawn to the first design, I like that everything isn't contained into the little white boxes. Only thing I would say is to maybe make the site logo a little bigger?

I was just thinking of the concept of the black background. I think you know how to use it. The site is neat and I like the textures used to weather the look of the page.

well done Jason, the feeling of classified documents is there 100%
I love the page texture and all around feel. Love the layout and visual organization. I do find the typeface for the body copy a bit difficult to read.
