John Bobier
Hello everyone, my name is John Bobier and am in my second semester in the GA&MT program. I was a Golf Professional for 10 years and in Liquor Distribution Sales for another 10 years. I was diagnosed with a spinal cord tumor 6 years ago and became paralyzed from it. I had to make a decision to go back to school and gain a new career so here I am! I am enjoying all of the classes so far! I look forward to getting to know all of you better.

John! Welcome to GRC 175. I think you'll have fun with graphic design/web design as a third career. It's a mentally and creatively challenging field so you'll never lack for mental exercise. Most of us artists are shut-ins so having people skills will be a real advantage for you too.
A spinal cord tumor sounds rough. I'm glad to see you recovering so well from it.
You're going to learn so many interesting skills in this class; from how to mind control people with colors and shapes to how to make your pretty design display across all sorts of different devices. And the projects will make you put it all to use. I want to see what you turn out for the projects. Every student has their own solutions and I like seeing them all.
