Hello there~
Hello! My name is Katelyn R. Brooke and I am 21 years old. I’m a Graphic Designer and Illustrator. I graduated from Truckee Meadows Community College on May 11, 2018, with an Associate's of Applied Science in Graphic Communications and I also was awarded a Certificate of Achievement. I am now going for my 3rd Year Advanced Certificate and Bachelors degree in Graphic Arts & Media Technology. Right now, I’m working in the Marketing and Communications department at TMCC as their student graphic designer. My hobbies include drawing, painting, and writing. I’m also a huge fan of the Harry Potter series. I’m excited about Web Design because it will be a great skill to have!

Welcome to GRC 175, Katelyn. I'm glad to have you in the class. I concur with your assessment; web design IS a great skill to have. The page layout and typography skills you're honing for TMCC will come in handy for laying out websites. You'll be surprised how easily your print design skills plug in. As long as you work hard, do the work, and participate, you'll do just fine in here. If you have any questions or need any help, don't hesitate to ask me.
