For my light purple rough layout I wanted to go with more of a zigzag pattern with the content with the hierarchy being my name while still having enough blank spaces to make it not feel as cluttered. For the orange-teal rough layout I wanted to go with a more minimalist look that was nice and simpler.
My inspiration came from these two websites.

Hi Adrianna,
Nice job on your roughs! I feel more drawn to your purple design. I think the colors are more soothing and I adore your little bunny! Taylor commented on mine that the TMCC logo need not be TMCC green for these designs, and I think that advice could benefit your designs too. Along with that, you might just see what a bit of an accent color could do to make some things pop a little.

Hi Adrianna,
I like both of your designs. Your color choices are really strong with both! I think I'm swaying more towards the purple one. I'm excited about your illustration, it's super cute. I think I would make your name a little bigger or mimic the way you did it on your first design. And just slide your body copy more to the right, it's a little close to the left side. I was also thinking it may be fun to add some yellow to your website because it would really compliment the purple. Great job!

Hello, I like your purple design. I think the orange one is hard to read. I love your color choices in both, thou. I think playing with size and alignment of type could help your design flow better. Good job!

Hey Adrianna, both designs are really unique and look good! The orange design stands out more but I feel like the purple overall is more appealing. The two purple colors you chose to contrast work perfectly in the design to break it up a bit. The only things I would look into fixing or playing around with is the navigation on the mobile page. It just feels like the project links are a little squished together. Also, the TMCC logo kind of sticks out too much against the purple and doesn't look the best. I think changing the color to white on the logo would benefit the design in a great way. Lastly, you misspelled contact in the mobile design which could easily be fixed Overall you did a fantastic job with the purple design!

I like the animation images. I appreciate the animation images being used. I feel that it creates more of a creative feel to the overall layout. I am getting distracted because this is the 10th comment I have left and I think I have like 5 more to do before Wednesday. I like your use of color and the design. Maybe bring the image to the left corner to serve as a logo design to navigate to all you image information.

Hi Adrianna, your two designs are really cute and the color looks great. The orange layout brings the color pop out, you should play around the navigation on mobile layout. Also, the purple layout looks great and simple even the drawing looks adorable.

Ooh la la Adrianna!
Both designs are wonderful! (And the flowers are beautiful.) I like the layout of the first design, but I would say work on color? As a person who stares at a computer screen like all the time, the blue is gonna hurt my eyes, so maybe choose colors that aren't so highly saturated so my eyes won't die. Perhaps you can use the purple from your second design and apply it to the first design (just an idea). But overall, you did an amazing job!

Re: Project 01 Preliminary Roughs
You've got some nice designs here, Adrianna. I prefer your first design.
The orange and teal is a good look. Very soft and pastel like. That's backed up by your beautiful pastel flower background image which establishes the color scheme you'll be using. I like your font choices as well. Your header type in particular looks like something that might be in a diary or passed around in a note in the back of class which seems to go with the theme you're rocking here. The layout itself is very simple, clean, and modern. Generally, you use margin pretty well throughout the composition. Your header does a great job of framing your content and setting itself off against your teal type and pastel image.
I don't think your header needs to be so big on your mobile design though. You could cut that thing down by half and still be just fine. Also, even with the glow, your type is blending in with your pastel image a bit. Pick a darker version of the teal, like say the one you used in your navigation, and use that color instead. There's no need for that much glow. Add a little bit more horizontal space between the buttons on your mobile design. I'd recommend using a white version of the TMCC logo. TMCC's hideous green is clashing with your design.
Nice work!
