Project 1 Preliminary Critique
Re: Project 1 Preliminary Critique
I like your first design. Try and use transparency on the box around your body copy, with a font that's no all caps and maybe justify your text.

Your backgrounds are beautiful! I think it would be great to add some effects to your picture to give both images some depth and separation from each other.

Both of these designs came out super clean! I love the imagery you used.
I do think I prefer the Trees layout slightly over the Mountain layout. I really like the effect you did on the text, also making it look like it's going in/out of the mist! I do think your nav buttons get a little lost on the computer version though. Perhaps consider shifting them left just slightly to be able to read them easier.

Hi Taylor!
Your imagery is really nice, and I think the white compliments it well- it makes me think of fresh air or fog, it's a nice clean impression. I think the project links on the first mobile layout would look better less spaced out from each other.

Hello! Nice job over here.
I can't really choose one because I think both have ideas that if you combine will turn out very well. For example the navigation bar of your second rough and your first background will look interesting. I like the neatness on this. Very unify and understandable. I would play more with type and you can always take a little bit of the red on your picture and apply it somewhere in your design. It looks like a very friendly website. Really good job!

Hi Taylor,
I like the simplicity of your designs. I think the second one works better I think because the first one kind of has a clash of too many bright colors. Other than that, the organization looks good.

Hey Taylor, I like the general layout you have for these two designs! I do prefer solid color for the type instead of the gradient. I honestly don't know what else to say...the first design looks solid. For the mobile format the Web Design and Publishing is a bit too small.
