Both designs need a little more work they both look very rough. I would pick the second design just stick with one color scheme for both the web and mobile design.

I really like how different your designs are from each other to give more variety! Personally, I liked the blue and yellow one. The colors really balance out well, and the images are very unique. If you could make the mobile version similar, ,I think that would look great.

I like the color choices in your second mobile layout's gradient, I think it's a really nice color combination, plus the pinwheel works well with it- I think the mobile type could be smaller and give you more space. It would be nice for the desktop layout to be closer to the mobile colors!

I think you did a well job with both layouts. In my case I will go with the second one because seems more exotic and unique. I feel the black boxes aren't working very well on that background. So you could get rid of them or arrange them in another way. Overall very interesting concepts over here.

Hey Tandy, nice designs you have here. The second design concept does not have any room for the body text. Perhaps either remove, resize, or reduce the opacity of the circular images. One thing I also suggest is to keep consistency when switching formats; your mobile and computer format concepts for design 2 look different from each other. Your first design looks pretty neat, it looks like there would be enough space for a paragraph about you for the computer format maybe add more height to the white box.
