I really like your second design using past projects as images. But the background would be nice if there was some color and maybe a toolbar to put your links into. Oh and maybe not indent your paragraphs.

Hello Jessie!

I love the gorgeous background image you used in your first design! However, I like your second design better. It looks a lot like many of the portfolio website I was browsing through during my research. Nice job pulling off a similar aesthetic! Also I love the font your chose for your name!
As far as any improvements go, maybe consider placing with the size/width of your nav buttons/about me section in your mobile layout. The way it is right now kinda feels like a solid block of content, and I think it might be easier on the eyes to break it up a bit

I like your first set, the mismatched images for the project links is very cute. I like your blue/orange palette, and I think that could be used in the box strokes, rather than black which looks a little out of place. Maybe a dark blue or orange?

Hi Jessie, your first design looks great, especially the colors got my attention. For the second layout it's great as well, it just need change sizes of navigation.

I like both of your designs. I would choose the one with your work. Even though there is already a lot of color coming from the imagery I thin you could find a nice background rather than white. I like the Typeface you use for your name. On the one with the mountains I would play a little bit more with the type. But they all look neat and easy to navigate. Nice job

Hi Jesse,

I like the contrast between the two designs and how you made them really different to test out what they look like. Personally, I find the second one nicer looking because it looks more organized. I think you just have to adjust where your lines are especially with the blocks of text and also try to add a color element so the screen isn't too plain.
