Oooooh, I really like that Beatnik second design, Ryan.
It does a great job of breaking out of the "boxy" look that a lot of websites fall prey to and that's entirely on that swoop to the left. It looks like a cubist painting of a palette with little daubs of paint on it. It looks good with your logo in it on the mobile design. I like the high contrast you've employed here as well. It's not just the black and white, but also the vivid colors you've chosen. They really create a bright, joyous vibe for the whole website. Good choice of the fonts as well. I like the interplay between the black headline and the light bodycopy and navigation. Your navigation is easy to see and use. The light type also compliments your logo nicely as well. Justifying the type sure paid off well. It turns the type into a design element and really anchors the left side. Good use of margins through the whole thing, too. It gives a great sense of proximity and groups your objects nicely.
Add a little space between your bodycopy paragraphs. Right now, they run together.
Fantastic work!

both designs need some more work. But I do like the second design. Just needs a good image in the box and add the class information and email.

Nice work with both of these! Both versions feel really clean and professional. However, I do like the polka dot one more! It's really visually engaging and works really well with your logo! A nit-picky thing I would change is moving the dot or the word "Howdy" in your mobile layout. I noticed the little bit of white space hanging out there and it feels like a point of tension to me. Y'know that whole overlap or gap, don't touch thing.
Also, I really like the font you chose for your nav buttons in the computer version. They match very well with your personal logo!

I'm liking the last two, the graphic is really neeto and the white is super simply. i think its too simple however because there is just a bunch of empty squares. thats all

Hi Ryan!
I love your second layout so much- reminds me of saved by the bell or going rollerskating! It's nostalgic Your logo is also very beautiful and keeps it more modern feeling. I think it would be nice if some of the colored dots went over the black edge in your desktop design, like how they overlap in the mobile version- the look a little more dynamic and less boxed in with the overlap.

Hello!
Both design are really attractive to the eye. I would choose the one with the colorful dots. It just gives an interesting flow. They look accessible and professional. Let just wait for your imagery to see how it will add to your compositions. Overall I like the colors you decide to play and the type face goes nicely with the design. Nice job

Hey Ryan, I am rally digging that second design. I love the fun elements you've added such as the shapes and color. I like how the shapes are guiding the viewer's eye down you page and creates a nice contrast. I also like your layout in the first design, it kind of reminds me of a newspaper for some reason. Perhaps increase the text size but other than that it's solid.
