Project 2 Final

Post by trixiapanda »

I'm like in the same mentality with Nalani... I'm not sure if we were supposed to put up our link for Project Two... But here ya go:

I did change up the layout because I wasn't liking some things from the original and I wanted mine to be more contemporary and simple. Overall, mine didn't have much to put in, so it was pretty easy and straightforward.

Hi Trixia,

Great job! Your site looks just as cheery and inviting as your project 1 design. For some reason the TMCC logo seems to be broken though.
Overall, excellent work!

You did indeed change your design, but overall, I like your changes, Trixia.

The colored background image continues to do all the heavy lifting in terms of color, but you've chosen to lean into it, rather than fight it. The right choice in my opinion. Great work bringing in different fonts with CSS, especially the script type in your headline. Browsers usually butcher script type, but this one seems to be generally agreeable. Good use of marking throughout, too. You continue to use transparency well on that footer as well. It's very subtle, but it adds a little bit of extra detail and visual interest.

I don't know that I'd have hearts under every button. Maybe have it under the button of the page you are on, or have them appear on rollover.

Nice work!

Hey Trixia, beautiful website you got here. Both the background and the text really compliments each other. I do like the hearts under the links, they add onto this cute/beauty sense you got here. I think the footer is a bit too thick, maybe trim that down. A neat little idea would be when the mouse is hovering over the links, the text and the heart should change color (perhaps a peach color). Great job!
