I decided to stray away from a typical webpage layout and go with two fun designs.

The first design is a bulletin board look. I really like how this one turned out and I like how everything goes together but it is also all over the place like an actual board.

The second design is space. I was also going for a chalkboard look. I like the concept but I do not like how the paragraph came out :/

Hello Izzy,
These look great! I love the handwritten font in the first layout everything goes together perfectly. I also like how you arranged everything on the bulletin board. On the second rough, I love all the doodles! If I were to change anything, I would change the font of the body text on the second rough. Other than that small change, everything looks fantastic!

These are some really strong compositions. I have to say tho I love the space one. The black background is unique and I love the illustrative style (especially love the dangly stars!) I would say just play with some different typefaces to see if you come across something you like better for your body copy. Nice work!

I really like that you went for these kind of textured designs for your webpage! It's really unique and pops off the screen. I think I favor the space design a bit more in terms of layout and color, but I definitely see why you like the paragraph a bit more in the first! Maybe you could incorporate the sticky note idea into the chalk board one as well.

These are both super cute! I think I prefer the bulletin board just cause the references in it are so fun. I love the lo-fi girl style picture you went with too. Overall, they're both really strong and I don't think I could really say anything that you need to work on with them. Great job!

I think you did a really creative job with both your designs. They are really unique! I like the black and white one the best. I like the planet and the star idea. I also like the way the words pop out at you. The only thing I would suggest is making your resources, projects, and contact into buttons rather than a layout so that you can tell each is an individual thing to click on. Nice job!

Your two compositions are fun to look at! I do enjoy the bulletin board looks, not sure if it's the quality on the forum here but do you have a grain/texture to it? If not I think it would look really nice and less flat with texture, were you thinking of maybe doing borders? I was also wondering if you were going to use type for a header or imagery? There's a nice balance with both of your layouts, great designs!

These are so cool and original! I think what really makes your designs work is the font choices. The handwritten typeface really brings the design and makes it feel more authentic. I'm really not sure which one I like more, because both of these have similar design aspect, yet feel so different. I think I'm leaning towards the first one, because I love the bulletin board concept. I have a suggestion that may or may not work with some trial and error and I'll do my best to explain it. It'd be awesome if you could make a sticky note with your name large on it, and have it ripped off to put your "about me" text below it. Besides that, awesome job Izzy! Can't wait to see your final

I like how you didn't stick to the usual web design layout. These are more fun, creative, and you can put your personality through these. The layouts are well balanced, and the fonts are fun, easily readable. I can't think of anything you need to change to improve it. Great work!
