Hi Kirsten
I like your second concept and it seems more your style. I really like the font you chose for your headlines and the one for your body copy as well and i think they look good together. If i were to do anything differently it would maybe make the background contrast with the type a little more by making the type more white and not overlap with the hand.

I like your designs and think you should go forward with the yellow design. The design is fun and unique. I think it could use a boost in text size. You did a great job when it came to the choice of fonts especially on the hand design.

Hi Kirsten! I like your first layout it has a very unique and personal feel to it that really sets it apart from the "regular" boring site. I think I would work with the open space more and pull in the content from the edges. Nice start!

I really really love how clan and easy to follow that first design looks! I especially love the use of type in the page it makes a fun and nice to look at design! I also love the color choices made it is very pleasant to look at! Great start!

Great two sets of layouts - they both are sooooo different from one another. and thats awesome as it provides good contrast and variety. Personally, I really love the yellow one because of how you did the jumbled letters of your name around the bottom left of your layouts. Looks super fun with lots of personality while still looking professional. The second option has an edge to it that is compelling but it seems a little bare compared to the first layout where the design not only says a lot but instantly gives the viewer a read on the author/designer.
However, aesthetically I would just advise to go with with the one that speaks the most about you and you can totally build upon it as both of these have huge potential. Subjectively though, the yellow is a bit more along. Good luck and look forward to seeing which one you go with or build upon.

Hi Kristen!
I am digging the second design so much! It's unique and expressive! I love the color of the font and just everything overall. The image is cool and you do a good job incorporating it into your design! I would maybe work with the font a bit more just so it can be more readable but overall WOW! Your first one is really cute too but It's not as dramatic as your second one. I just can't stop looking at it!
