Wow nice concept and soft tone palette, I too am hearing some Cyndi Lauper tunes while viewing this site. I like the original approach to the nav and the secondary master nav at the top. I am wondering whether you would consider removing the stroke on the pic of the kitty? It cuts through segmenting your body copy and draws me away from the core content. The only other thing is possibly changing the layout of the secondary nav to something more intuitive for the user and their UI experience within your site? Good start and good luck.

Re: Final Critique
I like the softness of the design you've chosen it seems very simple and calm. on your mobile version there seems to be a lot of open space below your projects text box. I see an image in the middle of the page I would lower the text box on the bottom and elevate the one on top so that you not only eliminate negative space but also create more visual appeal.

Hey McKenzie,
I absolutely love the aesthetics of your final designs! It is very visually pleasing and comes off soft and well-balanced to the viewers. I also do like how you did the navigation bar at the top and left enough ample room in the center for your "about me" section and project buttons. The only thing that irks me in a way is the cat photo in the center, I find it hard to read especially in the computer version due to all the body text covering it up. But besides that, I think you satisfied all the requirements for this project well and I can't wait to test it out once it's live! Good job!

Hey McKenzie,
Like the design you came up with, my favorite part is the color choice and of course the image. Your font choice is a great choice. Great work on this project.

Hi McKenzie
I adore your colors and typefaces but the kitty in the background throws me off. The poor thing is just kinda lost and distracts from the text box.

Hey McKenzie,
I really love these colors you used! They are very pastel like and it works well it is not overwhelming at all. It is a simple and easy to understand website and I think you had a lot of success here!
