As an artist I love the way you designed your color scheme and I enjoy that the drop shadow echoes the color of the directional light in the image. I also like that you went with a decorative font for your h1 and h2 sections on your page. As a designer though I have to ask if the dark colors pass the ol' squint test and achieve the separation in your site you are looking for? The overall aesthetic is cool and calming but the readability might be an issue with any user that doesn't adjust their brightness properly. Otherwise, I dig the flavor of this site, good luck.

Hey Samantha,
I love how you had combined both concepts from the preliminary critique under this dark mode approach, which I think also worked out well because it is amazing for this project! Not only does it look visually interesting with the neon purple-and-green color scheme and extraterrestrial vibe, but the inclusion of the night mode kitty pic in the design catches my attention immediately! It looks super cool! I also do enjoy how you had organized everything in separate boxes, it makes it easy for the user when navigating through your website and also highlights the hierarchy within the composition's structure--very well done! My only suggestions to fix are: the paragraph (I think making it positioned on the left would do it justice than it being centered, similar to your mobile design); and decreasing the scale for the project buttons (to where the text does not touch both edges of the rectangle). But other than that, I think you had greatly improved your concept from the last critique and that it satisfies the project's requirements as well! Greak work!

the overall design is great however the references section to which you've shortened to REF is somewhat confusing to the viewer if they didn't know the project parameters. this is the only thing I would change the rest looks great.

Hey Sam,
Glad to see you went with the dark mode design, kind of gives a futuristic look. Your font choice is a left turn for sure but a welcomed one. Sad to see a different cat used than the one recommend by Michael. Other wise great design.

Hi Samantha
These are great! I like how both concepts work equally as well and are easy to read and see where everything is. The colors are really nice together too good choices!

Hi Samantha!
I like your header font style and your color combinations, I think they all work well together to show who you are. I think I liked your last cat picture better, I am not sure that the colors of this picture mesh with the background that well. Nice work overall!
