Project 2 Jenny Snaza

Post by jenny_snaza »

Yay, Project 2...

Honestly was a little burnt out on this one..not my best, but I think it is a slight improvement. I can definitely tell I am understanding coding MUCH better and by the third page could whip those little divs into shape..WOOHOO! Can't wait to see everyone else's sites!

I like the casual feel of the site, and the navigation is nice. If you could find a way to display the menus better so that they don't reach down the page forever, it could make the site look a bit cleaner... perhaps links to pdfs could solve that problem in the future?

I like it, Burnt out or not, you did an excellent Job! Its very clean, yet still has fun elements. Easy navigation and I think you did just fine!

Yes linking the Menu thru a PDF is what I did, it helped me, and makes it easier to keep the site pulled together,

Looks good Jenny. The issue I have currently is the menu page. All the type is set at one size and it kinda blends too much, you may want to (If and only if you have time, inspiration and most of all energy) play around with color and scale on that to make it more visually interesting. I like the colors you chose and it effectively gives it the deli look. All and all great work!

Another nice little trick would be to set your container that contains your menu so that you have a scroll bar on the side. I agree that adding different text colors would make it more visually stimulating. THe design of the site is very well done though. Clean and simple, just how I like sites to be.

Thanks you guys! I totally agree that the menu page needs some work. I like the PDF idea and the scroll bar. I think I will mess with it and see how it goes. : ) Thanks for the comments!

Your site's really well designed. It's easy to navigate and the information is organized well. I would play with the text a bit more for some hierarchy. Using bold on the headers doesn't stand out enough.

I think you did a great job on your site. You had a lot of text for your menus/catering. The placement of your photos is wonderful and I love the video on the home page. Great Job!
