Hi! My name is Alexandra but I go by Alex. I made my site purposely simple to use because I really wanted the student work to show through. It also had the added benefit of being easier to code. A couple of years ago I was a web design major BUT I forgot so much of how to do things. I attempted media queries but they definitely don't work, I didn't have enough time to push that out. I think my design meets the parameters since it has all the things necessary (links to projects, introductions, tmcc logo etc.). I also think it's interesting enough to look at and easy to navigate.
Thanks for reading

Hello Alex!
Let me say that I am with you. This was certainly a challenge trying to remember what we've learned, but just look at your work...You did it and it looks good! Well done.

Hi Alex!
I love your website! It looks similar to your rough draft; watching it come to life is so cool. I also love how the links turn purple when you hover over them; it adds a classic touch. I can't believe you used to be a web design major . No wonder your website looks so good! My only suggestion would be to make the TMCC logo smaller; aside from that, the website looks incredible. Also to answer your comment on my website: yes, Graphic Star is like a "brand name" I made for myself because my initials are GS; I decided to make my "brand name" Graphic Star to represent myself as a great graphic designer

Hi Alex,
First of all, your image made me smile every time I've seen it . Love it! Your website is looking great. I agree with Giselle that you may want to try to make TMCC logo smaller. Other than that it looks almost perfect. Nice job!

Hello, Alexander
I love the medieval five you through the whole thing and that you stuck with your project one designs. I also really like the pictures it's very fun. one suggestion I have is maybe make the TMCC we'll go a little bit smaller.

Oh yeah! It's the medieval bestiary website. It reminds me of the Twitter that collects up weird medieval bestiary: Weird Medieval Guys.
I think you did a darn good job of achieving the looks and feel you were going for with your Project One. That image still manages to catch my eye and I'm amused at the implication that it's you. I certainly imagine it talking at me when you message me in canvas. Your headline and navigation font are perfectly chosen. Said navigation is easy to see and use. I like the rollover bit as well. Good use on contrast throughout. And the margins are pretty darn good. The whole thing doesn't fragment, although everything has room to breathe. It's even a little bit responsive despite your media query issues.
Seeing it at proper big size in a browser, I think the whole thing could have used some sort of background texture. Maybe a stone wall like it's hanging in a castle. Otherwise, my only issue with the layout is the paragraph. It looks like one large block. I think it could have been broken up a bit.
Good work!

Hey Alex! This looks so great! Really professional looking, I can tell you that you have a decent amount of experience in web design. I love how you set up your links and the font style you chose for this. It's very fitting for the entire theme of your website.
Great work!

Hey Alex! I like your website, which is more similar to your design of Project 1. You have put a lot of effort into organizing so that your design looks similar. Great job!
