For my design, I tried combining two different types of feels to my websites. But overall all want more of a cleaner for a simple look. I looked at these references to help me with my ideas,

Chanleeh,
As much as I love the darker design, it's sort of eye candy, I have to say I would be less likely to click on that site over the lighter one. It has a nice from the cooler colors, but still has just enough warmth to make me feel drawn to it. The desktop version is missing that panoramic of the beach scene that the mobile has. The serif style font you used for "Hello", to me doesn't pair well with the other font used. The little sun above it suggests a more playful font.
Good Luck!
Chris

Hm. You posted your stuff a week late, but you did turn in something, so I appreciate that. I'm sorry you didn't offer feedback to your fellow students. That was some low hanging fruit you left on the table there.
I like your ocean layout best, Chanlee. It's bright and welcoming. That little Hello sun brings a smile to my face every time I look at it. Great colors too. They really reflect the beach environment you are trying to promote here and play well with your pictures. Speaking of those photos, they are perfectly chosen for the aesthetic you are going for here. I can hear the crashing of the waves and smell the sea breeze just looking at them.
I'd recommend expanding the top image in your computer layout so it goes all the way across. That looks so strong in your mobile layout. Maybe reshuffle the wave tube image down toward the bottom so it can act as a twin to the horse image. Also, vertically center your bodycopy on your computer layout. Leave it left aligned though
Good effort!
