Hello everyone!
This may be the first you'll see from me, as I've been getting caught up in this class, hahaha. Well, after consulting my two designs with my friends, this is their favorite. It is clean and recognizes my professionalism with my clients. The blobs feel like the perfect, fun addition. I also added the fun, flower shape. I hope to maybe be able to use a version of this website for my actual portfolio!
Some changes I've made include the introduction of the font Futura! This is my assigned font in Dan's Typography class. I've been obsessed with it, genuinely so glad I picked it. Wes Anderson is my favorite director, and he LOOVES Futura. Did you know that Futura has more screentime in the film 'The Royal Tenenbaums' than any of the main ensamble cast? That's how much he loved it. Anyways, hope you guys like my final design!

Hi, Reagan!
I always love your designs, and this one is no different. I really like your colors and your use of whitespace. I like the use of a footer and the simplicity of your whole design.
My only issue is how its aligned right. It just looks off balance. That might be because left aligning looks so natural to me, but I wonder if the right align was intentional?
Great work!

Hello, Reagan.
I love the colors on your background. I am not a big fan of simplicity. However, I know some people can do great things with simple designs, and you are one of them. My only issue is the position of your type. I feel like it doesn't work that well aligned to the right. Overall, your design came out pretty good.

Hi Reagan,
These are really nice designs. There is a lot of negative space which isnt necessarily a bad thing but just something to be aware of and to mindful of this looking intentional. I really like how big and bold the Projects/Links/Resources type is on the mobile verison is. Helps with knowing where to look!
Overall great job,
Rebekah

Hi Reagan,
I think this is such a good layout, and very easy to read. Your photo looks professional and I like that this is simple but elegant. I do like the choice of fonts for your headline and navigation, it makes the design easy to read. This design is accessible! Nice work!

Hi Reagan,
great job on your layout, I like the whitespace and the colors in the background, it looks really easy to navigate and easy on the eyes. however I think there is a little too much empty space to the left. Maybe make your image a little bigger and align it more to the left. I'm no expert, just giving my two cents. anyway great job.

You've got a real interesting look here, Regan.
My eye is caught by your shimmering, multi-colored, oil slick flower background shapes. The colors are well selected and serve to draw me into your content. They also kind of point my eye around your composition. You clearly spent some time selecting colors and it shows. You also make great use of contrast here, your text and content show strongly against your white background. Good use of proximity as well. It's obvious to see what content object share the same subject. Good work selecting one typeface and using different weights of it to establish hierarchy. Your navigation is easy to find as well.
The big issue I see here is with the whole thing fragmenting. You have good proximity with your various content chunks, but they seem scattered all over your mobile and computer layouts. There's lots of unnecessary white space on them as well. You have room to play with enlarging your content, but it seems confined in these tiny pockets. Your footer is a good example. You've got room to spread the thing out and let it breathe on your computer layout, but it seems compact like your mobile layout.
Good effort!

Hi Reagan,
I think both designs are really cool, as always very well done and presented.
One thing I would say is that if youre trying to be minimal, you can tuck the TMCC right under everything, or if youre trying to make that swooping shape with the black elements, bring your image left and down a touch. Right now it to me just feels a little off.
Thank you!

Hey Reagan!
I like your layout! I like the colors you've used. I like the tie-dye flowers in the background. I like the fonts you've chosen. I like how you laid out your elements. The only thing I would change is filling up more of that blank white space with something. Good job!

Hi Reagan!
These look so cool! They're so simple but endlessly intriguing to look at! It turned out amazing I do agree with Emily the alignment not matching with your picture is off-putting but otherwise I love it!
Have a good night!
