Hi Everyone,
This is my final design. I know it was tough to tell the difference between the 2 mock-ups. The only difference was some pages had different layouts but the same theme overall looked like only one design (shame on me). I pulled up both designs to fit one layout and I'm happy with how it turned out. I made the web home page my "work" page so people can eventually scroll through it and the D button will show the project pages. The mobile design will also be a fully scrollable home page and the hamburger button will pop up the separate project pages.
Reviewing some feedback everyone wanted colors. At first, I didn't want any colors to clash with my portfolio work but I realized a black and accent of orange would look visually pleasing. My favorite color is orange and what better way to put it on my brand? I also added the "TMCC", I didn't want the TMCC logo, it wouldn't fit well on the site.
I reference a lot of portfolio work on Behance and read articles on portfolio work to help with my website. I want something easy to navigate but creative as well. I believe it is a designer's job to make work that's easy to digest but also captures interest.

Hi, Danielle
I really love how slick your layouts are. I agree with your statement that black and orange look great together, and you've proven that further with your design(s). This is a design I could easily see myself scrolling through for inspiration. I like your icons for your projects/references.
For the top of your mobile layouts, I wonder if getting rid of the navigation bar at the top would benefit. It might be hard to tap the exact page you want, and might make things cluttered. I think just having your sliding Menu would be great.
Great work!

Hello, Danielle.
I truly enjoyed your black and orange combination. The contrast makes it look very interesting, and easy to navigate. Your type works fantastic. It truly looks like portfolio website. I don't really have any issues with your design, or any other comments to add. It looks interesting, organized and professional.

Hi Danielle,
I really like the work you did on your layout, it is Eye-catching, clean, uncluttered, and looks easy to navigate. I like the color palette and your font choice. Good job, really looks professional.

Wow! That's impressive. This is one of the most professional looking websites I've ever seen in these classes.
I love the contrast of it all. You really took advantage of your black background to set your website up as a scrapbook. All of your colors work perfectly in fact. That you went with a really simple colorscheme; black, white, and a red-orange, helps set everything off. Those colors work perfectly together. Speaking of working perfectly together, your headline and light bodycopy fonts play nicely off of each other to harmonious effect. Nice work with the permanently rolled over button allowing a user to see at a glance where they are on the website. The navigation is easy to see and presumably to use, and looks big enough for fat fingers to poke at on mobile. Your margins are right at the edge of fragmenting in some places, but they do not step over that line (for the most part). It gives the whole layout an open breezy effect in spite of it's dark colors. Your cartoon self portrait helps with this as well. Because of your margins and the simplicity of the layout, this should be relatively simple to build.
Your portfolio gallery is one area where it does fragment a bit. I think the pieces could have been a little tighter.
Excellent work!

Hey Danielle!
No notes! This website kicks ass! I like how the black and white is broken up with splashes of color. Your layouts are cool and the way you worked in your other work looks really nice. Good work! I think we all have a thing or two to learn from you!
