Hey all, that is what the website link looks like unfortunately, I will fix this later but for now here is my project.
I tried to get my index page looking like my project one final as much as possible but of course, I had issues and as such I had to change stuff around.
I had to move navigation links, icons and I added some pictures that weren't there before, but over all i think the vibes are at least still the same. :')

Alright Chloe Tableflipper, let's see what you got for me.

This came out pretty good. You've done a credible job replicating your Project one and making improvements here and there. Your background image is looking good and adding it's usual atmosphere to the proceedings. Your pic is also doing a good job of selling us on the fact that you're a cryptid from the rainforests of the Pacific Northwest. The excellent color choices have carried through. As has all the good texturing and detail. Your contrast has come across as well. It does a good job matching up with what you wanted to do based on what you showed us with your Project One.

The whole design comes apart a bit if it's not the prefect resolution, though. I think it would have worked better to build more of your layout in HTML and CSS than rely on a background image. Your bodycopy came out very small and seems to need a little bottom margin to separate it from Terra. I don't think your contact email link works.

BTW, The reason why your regular student work link (https://www.grc175.com/student/fall-2024/chloe-hull/) does not work is that you put up your entire directory folder rather than just it's contents. That's why your URL is (https://www.grc175.com/student/fall-202 ... roject-02/), the "project-02" is your folder adding an extra level to the address. I didn't intend you guys to put up your whole folder until Project Three.

Fantastic job you did on this page. everything looks really great except the body typeface I think is a little small and hard to read. Other than that, you did a great job on this looks really cool and aesthetically pleasing.

You did a great job executing your project one design. The layout looks really good! My suggestion would be to either add a background to the type on the top right or to change the color. The red is a bit hard to see with the dark background.

Hi Chloe!

You were able to translate this super well it’s absolutely beautiful! I still love the colors to death its amazing :] I’m on my iPad so obviously it might translate a little weird but the text overlaps with the picture of your dog which again, isn’t much of a problem because it’s my iPad.

Your site looks just like the proj 1! Your use of overlaps is very good and the colors are beautiful. It looks like you have more plans for the paragraph but the icons and everything fit super!

Hello Chloe.
Your design has a lot personality and looks as good as your original design. I would just suggest aligning and resizing your font a little bigger. Maybe. changing the color of the links on the top. They kind of clash the background. Other than that, your design works very well.

I think you stayed true to the aesthetic of your Project 1 very well. The whole mystical-forest theme is really calming. There are some issues with the body copy overlapping your adorable dogs, but everything else looks nice.
