Project 1 Preliminary Work
For my 2 website designs, I wanted to go for a good color scheme while also trying to keep a clean and simple look. I would love to experiment more with my designs as I continue to work on this project. The 2 websites I drew inspiration from were https://yellowfellow.tv and https://www.zypsy.com . These 2 websites are very unique so it was hard to try and replicate some of their features. I was drawn to how colorful and clean these websites were. I am not super familiar with Sigma so there were some things that I would usually do on photoshop that I wanted to include on here. I like to use stroke as a simple way to add more detail and feel to the typography. I like to use rectangles to put behind text so it can pop out. The typography I used was a little playful on the yellow one and gave a nice look. Im excited to keep working on these and eager to learn how to be better.

Hi Adrian,
I love the easy legibility of these designs. It would be easy to navigate for the user, and doesn’t over complicate things. The large font for your name also clarifies whose website it is, and is a nice touch. But I think the design is inflicted by the picture not feeling united with the rest of the design. Especially with the first design, as its cool colors conflict with the warm colors. Of course, it could be a good thing as well if you want the photo to stand out. But I would recommend having the photo take up more space, or have some sort of design element to unite it with the rest. It is a great start though for a website design though, good stuff!

Hey Adrian ,
I like your designs they are clean and sleek i like the simplicity of the layouts they are legible and clean. The orange one is a bit hard to read but the blue grey is a little dull and could use a little bit more color but not to much other than that i like these designs !

Hey Adrian!
The 1st design is a bit tooooo bright! Really hard to see the text and hard to just focus on the overall layout!
The 2nd Design is very simple but honestly very nice! Love the Layout and the Blue/White will always be eye appealing!
Excited to see more!

Hey Adrian,
The blue layout definitely stands out to me clean bright colors with an easy to navigate layout although theres a bit of a contrast issue with the logo. The layout for the yellow one is good too just a little hard to read. Great work!

Hi Adrian,
I like the difference between the warm vs. cool tones you chose for your two designs. I also think your use of readable fonts makes your designs successful in seeing it from far away. However, I would suggest maybe sizing up the project links and resources because they're really small in comparison to your name on the page, and it may interfere with the navigation of the website. Other than that, you have some really strong designs!

Hi Adrian,
I really like both of your layouts that you have created. The blue one has familiarity to other websites around. I actually really like the layout for the yellow one, but for me personally I think the color scheme is too much. I think if you just swapped the colors around that layout could work really well! Overall I think that you did a really great job!

Hi Adrian,
I like how both of your designs are easy to navigate, both have all the information really visible. I'd say I liked the layout of the yellow one a bit more, but the blue palette was definitely easier on the eyes.

Hi Adrian! I really love the yellow you chose for your first design but I think they grey one works much better overall. An issue I have with it is that your project/link ui is awfully small on the mobile version and makes it easy to miss despite being right there at the top. Maybe try a bigger font size or a different layout!

I think the second one with blue and gray is really cool. I like the big and small text. It really stands out. The typeface is also interesting to look at and I like that you chose to change it for the body paragraph. The blue and gray contrast really nicely and it is obvious you are a UNR supporter. The design is very clean. I think I would give your name a little more space and spacing in between you first and last name. It feels a little cramped. Your pic could also be a little smaller on the desktop and perhaps on the top of the bio in the mobile version so it is stacked, not side by side. It looks good though!
