Oh snap! Look at that cool, notebook design. I'm always a sucker for good skeuomorphism, Kendra. How did you know?

So many great textures in this thing. It really does look like something on a page of notepaper in the back of somebody's locker or something. Love all the skeuomorphic touches like the push pins holding in the post-it notes and the light-sourced drop shadows. Your navigation is certainly easy to find and use. Love the use of the highlighter and circling. Clearly and important note in that lecture! I like that your content info is in an obviously hand scissor cut post-it note. Great use of typography throughout your design, too. Your fonts look appropriately scribbley and fratically written, just like class notes.

I would either shrink your bodycopy a bit so it doesn't run right up to the edge of your pink bodycopy container post-it note. I'd also make your picture the entire post-it note, complete with curled edge.

Great work!

Hi Kendra,
These designs have a lot of personality! The first has a fun, scrapbook-style look with bright colors and handwritten elements, which makes it feel playful and personal. The text bubbles are a great touch. The second design has a more refined, artistic feel with its grayscale sketch background and soft purple accents. It looks elegant, but some contrast adjustments could make the text pop more. Both are strong in their own way. Just making small tweaks to spacing and readability will make them even better!
