Hi Cristina,
I really like the the first layout. Everything is centered and it all flows together very nicely. It really expresses who you are.

I think the first layout is wonderful. Excellent use of color and I really like your use of space. It really does have a professional look and is artistic at the same time. My only suggestion is perhaps a larger photo or drawing to give it a personal touch. Just something to play around with.

Heya Cristina.
On the first one, I actually really enjoy the softness of the colors you chose. They feel calm and they draw my eye just because they're not right there in my face. I like the abundance of white space because it makes it feel like your whole design is the focal point, and I like how you've incorporated your pictures. I might even add another one to the reddish circle on the right of your header, just to add some picture balance up there. The only thing that really feels like it may be floating is your main copy. Maybe try adding a one pixel border around that area and see how you like it. I might also stretch it to where it matches evenly on the sides with your graphics. One thing you might also try is instead of having that plain "Resources" text link under your email address, put two circles in the white space between your project images, overlapping those rectangles, with one being "Resources" and the other being "Home," or something like that.
On the second one, I am, naturally, a huge fan of the black and white contrast. The gray box for your copy is perfect and everything is just so neatly aligned, aside from where you purposefully misaligned, of course. I like the accents of color and find myself wondering why you chose those specific colors, so you do get my attention in that way. I kind of want the picture to be a little sharper though, just to give a better idea of what exactly I'm looking at. It also feels like too much for your entire name to be blue in your email address. Maybe just do the "r," like you have in "Resources." Or either first or last name, if you want more than just a letter. And just for the record, we're in 2013, not 2012 (typo demon!).
Personally, I like the first one better!

Re: Cristina's Roughs for Project One
Hello~
Well I like both designs, but if I had to pick I'd go with the second one. I really like the image you've chosen and I think the white on black theme is effective. The suggestion I have for this design is that the letter spacing feels too crammed together for my taste, both on the paragraph text and the links. The letter spacing you used for the 'web design' label looks nice, so maybe use that spacing on the rest of the page.
On the second design, I like the color palette you've chosen, and the quote is a brilliant touch. The only suggestion I have for this design is that the 'resources' link seems like an afterthought. I'd like to see all 4 links with the same design, maybe make them a little smaller so that all 4 could be placed inline in one row.
Really cool designs, and again really like the picture on design two. Great work.

Hola Cristina.
Those roughs are so amazing, but i have to admit that I like the best how you play with color in the first one. I think the way you play with the shapes is really interesting as well as the way you put the pics into the circles.
I could suggest to play little more with the head line because it has to low contrast with anything else, may choose another color in the type face if you want it to pop-out. GOOD JOB

Hi!
The 2nd concept is definitely the strongest, I like the colors and how clear and easy it is to acquaint myself with navigation. I really enjoy your work!

Hi Cristina, both of your concepts are really strong but I personally would go for the first. I like how you incorporate your photography in your layout. One suggestion is to try and make it bigger so it doesn't look like it's floating in space.

Hey Christina,
You've made it really hard to chose because they are both done so well. The second catches my interest a little more than the first. The first one is still really good. I think whichever one you decide to use you'll be successful with moving forward.

I really enjoy your second design. If I were you I would consider using a little bit of magenta in there to to make it CMY&K
