Decided to get a second monitor and go dual display on my main PC. That way Photoshop can run on one 23" inch display and Dreamweaver on the other. Same PC, so things can easily be moved from one display to the other.
Sound like a convenient system for my office/design studio?

Once you get two monitors, you can never have just one again!

I have two monitors, and I just want more. I mean if I want to watch a movie, use photoshop, code a site is dreamweaver, and view that site in a browser, 2 monitors just isn't enough.

Then again, this badboy is making me have doubts. If I had to have only a single monitor, that'd be it.

It's curved. If you got enough of them you could have a full circle around you...

Re: Decided to get a second monitor
I officially have a second monitor on order at Walmart. Soon as it arrives I'll have twin 23" 1080p monitors.
I also have my computer's third video output going to my television. Sometimes I turn on internet videos and switch television display on and have a seat on the sofa. But when I'm actually AT my PC doing graphics work it'll be nice to have two monitors. Having a homemade PC with three video outputs is nice.
Which is better by the way? SVGA or DVI? I know HDMI is the best of the 3.

Re: Decided to get a second monitor
Actually, the only difference between HDMI and DVI is HDMI has some copy protection (apparently) and more noticeably, it carries audio as well as video signal. HDMI and DVI even use the same standards, and there's no real difference in video between the two. The one in your set of 3 that stands out as wildly different is SVGA. SVGA is ancient tech... I've been using it since my 486 days. It's seriously like 20 years old or so at this point. Whether you use DVI or HDMI will pretty much depend on if you buy a TV or a monitor. (Not that there's much difference, and sometimes they have both kinds of ports.)

Re: Decided to get a second monitor
Yeah, my three display outputs are SVGA, HDMI, and DVI. So I'm thinking of running the HDMI to the television, the DVI to monitor 1, and the SVGA to monitor 2. Do you think that is the best way with the three connections available?
