Project 1 and 2 web Jenny Breitrick

Post by jennybreitrick »

Wow…I am done and my webpage is up. Man, was that a learning experience! I had quite a few mental breakdowns and came close to passing out. But somehow made it through, I’m not going to brag that this is the greatest webpage…but like someone once said…”you have a million horrible websites in you…you might as well get them out of you now :? ” …Plus, I kept on having to remind myself that, if it doesn’t hurt your brain, then you aren’t learning anything.

Hi Jenny - I like the fonts and the color scheme you chose for the school website. It fits in really well, along with the illustrations. The site feels a little cramped though, and I think you could stretch it out and take advantage of some extra room to let the content breathe a bit.

Nice Work! Your website it's very interesting and your inspirations as well... I really liked them, especially tim burton. That's something we have in common. Overall, your website looks great, very simple and easy to navigate.

Heya Jenny.

I like the way your homepage turned out! I'm not sure about the yellow hover effect, just because that particular color seems sort of out of place against the color scheme for the rest of it. Your project two also came out really cute; good choice of background image, though it is a little fuzzy on my screen. And your links aren't properly lining up for me in that black area underneath your image, so maybe take a look at the code there. And this is my English nerd coming out, but is there a reason you put that extra "e" on "menu"?

I do like how your first design is sorta out of the box, but the way it cuts the words is kinda weird. Maybe just fade the pic out on the sides so that its not so sudden.

hi jenny!

i agree, super tough but you got it working! nice job with your choices of color and font, it feels good with the elementary school, i think you chose those very well. some of your content is a bit tough to read on the other pages, maybe just a bit small. good job though, all your links work! yay!

I found the site for project 2 to be perfect for the subject. The color are simple and the site is easy to navigate.
Good job.

Jenny,

Very good job with both navigations and your color scheme work very well. There seems to be an issue with your navigation on project 2. Nice work.

Hey girl,
I love your layout of your home page, I think you didi a really good job there, in the redesigned page I can say that it has your personal touch although i sow that you had little problems with your navigation bar. good job buddy

I like the hand drawn feel. I think your links to your second project are a little confusing. They seem like design elements on the portal page rather than links and I think they need to be placed differently on the page.
