Between the two I'm leaning more toward the second. While both are very similar (perhaps try playing with different colour palettes for more variety?), I think the second one is a better at catching attention and is more exciting.

Though I feel the need to point out that the colour scheme reminds me a lot of Renown Medical Center. :'D

I also believe that the second layout is the stronger of the two. I do really like the illustration of the eye in the first layout. I hope you can find a way to incorporate it in one of your inside pages.

Great choice of colors Rebecca!! I really like your second layout, it has some great motion in it. Can't wait to see how it turns out!
